Andy is the Chief Executive Officer of Legal for Lettings and its parent company Barbon Insurance Group Limited. He has an extensive sales and sales management background with experience across a range of business maturities, from start up through to PLC boards.
Andy is a prominent figure in the private rented sector (PRS) and is well known for his establishment and growth of the Let Alliance business. Andy led the Let Alliance business through over a decade of growth, merging the business with the Barbon Insurance Group in 2019 and going on to lead the Barbon group of businesses following its acquisition by the PIB Group in 2020.
Andy brings to the firm invaluable experience and knowledge in both business start-ups and the PRS.


Carl is the firm’s Compliance Officer for both Legal Practice, and Financial Administration. Carl is an experienced Solicitor who was admitted to the roll in 2003.


Will’s career in debt recovery started in 2006, recovering unsecured regulated debts for a high street bank. In 2014, Will joined Barbon Insurance Group as their Legal & Claims Manager and was responsible for handling landlords’ and letting agents’ claims, on behalf of a number of insurers, on one of the UK’s largest Rent Protection Legal Expense insurance portfolios. In 2018 Will was promoted to the Group’s Head of Legal & Claims and brings a wealth of debt recovery, litigation, and landlord and tenant dispute resolution experience to the firm.
Will is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, with ongoing studies, and he is a Member of The Chartered Institute of Credit Management through experience.


Dan was admitted to the Roll as a Solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) in October 2021.
Before becoming a Solicitor, Dan qualified as a Barrister; being called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn in 2014. He has a wealth of advocacy experience, developed by representing claimants and defendants in courts all over the country in a range of civil proceedings.
In 2016, Dan secured an employed position as an in-house advocate for a nationwide advocacy provider where he enhanced his advocacy credentials whilst developing his litigation and drafting capabilities. Dan then progressed within the firm, becoming a manager in 2018 and subsequently the head of the litigation department in 2021.
Dan has been an associate lecturer in law at Edge Hill University since 2015, and at Lincoln University since 2022. Dan has more than 10 years post-qualification experience and his qualification as a Solicitor with Higher Rights enables him to provide a comprehensive service to clients, from initial advice to representation at trial.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys watching and playing football and spending time with his family.


Helen is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Legal Executives specialising in Civil Litigation and Landlord and Tenant Law.
Helen has worked with clients in numerous areas including debt recovery, boundary disputes, nuisance claims, property disputes, service charges and long lease disputes.
Helen carries an award winning wealth of experience from working in both public and private sectors in the landlord and tenant field with a proven track record of client satisfaction. She offers down to earth legal advice and support for landlords, tenants and agents from outset to conclusion of claims.
Having worked in both the public and private sectors Helen has a clear perspective of both sides of landlord and tenant legislation and strives to offer the best service possible.
Outside of work Helen loves F1 and being outdoors.


Nikki’s career in debt recovery started in 2014 with Barbon Insurance Group when she joined the Legal & Claims Team. Nikki designed, developed, and deployed a debt recovery strategy for the group and their insurers, growing the function as it became more and more successful. Nikki’s career as a Debt Recovery Manager then took a legal turn in 2020 when she successfully obtained a Level 3 Certificate in Contract Law and Civil Litigation with CILEX. Nikki specialises in helping landlords resolve problem tenancies and brings a wealth of experience in recovering difficult debts successfully for her clients.


Rebecca graduated with a Psychology & Criminology degree in 1997. Since then she has worked in the promotional sector overseeing printing and production, then moving onto a role as a Customer Services Team Leader in distribution within the publishing industry. Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge in managing teams, enabling them to achieve their best potential.
Outside of work Rebecca enjoys watching live music, reading and is an avid sports fan.


Jayd graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a Degree in Law & Criminology. Having started her legal career in 2018 working for local government, as a legal assistant Jayd then moved into the private sector in 2019. Jayd joined our firm as a Paralegal in 2023 and has experience in Landlord and Tenant Law, specialising in recovering possession of residential property.


In 2024, Claudio transitioned from his background in business management and insurance, to embark on a legal career as a paralegal with our firm. Claudio brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in acting on behalf of insurers, handling Rent Protection and Legal Expense claims. Claudio is also currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts degree and is dedicated to enhancing his legal knowledge, through professional studies in the near future.
Outside of work, Claudio enjoys reading and the outdoors.


Jemma graduated with LLB (Hons) in Law and Criminology from the University of Lincoln in 2022, marking the beginning of her journey in the legal realm. Starting as a legal drafter, she gained invaluable experience, which led her to recently joining our team as a Paralegal in the Landlord and Tenant Team.
Jemma aims to continue growing her skill sets, and hopes to further progress her legal career in the future and qualify as a solicitor.
Outside of work, Jemma enjoys spending time with her two cats, and watching football with her partner.


Wiktoria graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree in Law with Criminology in 2024 from Nottingham Trent University. Wiktoria is currently studying towards the Barrister’s Training Course together with a Master’s in Law. Wiktoria is a Paralegal specialising in Landlord and Tenant Litigation, aiding clients in regaining possession of residential properties. Wiktoria is an aspiring solicitor, hoping to progress her legal career via the Solicitors Qualifying Exam.
Outside of work, Wiktoria enjoys spending time with her sausage dog and fiancé.


Sophie graduated from The University of Lincoln with a LLB (Hons) in Law. Sophie joined our Firm as a paralegal within our Landlord and Tenant Team. She hopes to further her education in the near future and qualify as a solicitor.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys going on walks and traveling.


Sophie graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2022 with a Masters in English Literature. Before joining the firm, Sophie has 3 years of invaluable customer-facing experience, which allows her to successfully, and continuously, fulfil our customers needs. Sophie intends to continue her career in Law and is pursuing qualification as a Solicitor.
Outside of work, Sophie thoroughly enjoys reading and cooking.


Aleksandra is a Paralegal at Legal for Lettings, assisting the team with a wide range of residential landlord and tenant matters. She obtained her LLB (Hons) degree from the University of York before beginning her legal career. Aleksandra intends to continue her studies by undertaking a Master’s in Law and ultimately qualifying as a solicitor. Outside of work, Aleksandra enjoys spending time with her friends and family and attending live music events.


Charlotte’s career in the private rental sector began at HomeLet, where she played a pivotal role in the Tenant Referencing Department. With a focus on clear communication and meticulous attention to detail, Charlotte guided Landlords and Letting Agents through the complexities of tenant referencing. She was instrumental in interpreting referencing applications, providing clarity on their implications, and resolving issues when applications deviated from standard procedures. Her dedication and problem-solving acumen ensured thousands of successful tenancy agreements, protecting Landlords and Agents from potential problems.
Joining Legal for Lettings as a Paralegal in our Landlord and Tenant Team, Charlotte brings a rich background in customer service and a knack for tackling intricate challenges. She excels in offering empathetic and thorough support to clients, understanding the nuances of each case and advocating for their needs with precision and care.
Charlotte is particularly passionate about promoting fair and equitable treatment within the rental market and strives to support those in need of additional assistance. Her advocacy for societal issues reflects her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the legal sphere.
Outside of work, Charlotte finds joy in her diverse interests. She loves spending quality time with her cat, who adds a touch of warmth and companionship to her life. Exploring new cities feeds her curiosity and love for adventure, while gaming provides a creative escape. Football evenings with her husband are a cherished tradition, reflecting her enthusiasm for the sport and the camaraderie it brings.


Paula has graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a double honors degree in French and International Relations. Paula is continuing her studies working towards a Masters in Law.
Paula has knowledge and experience in acting on behalf of insurers, handling Rent Protection and Legal Expense claims.
Paula is fluent in Spanish and can understand French.
Paula likes to learn languages, she likes to read and travel.


Emily graduated with LLB (Hons) in Law from De Montfort University in 2023 and has recently finished her master’s degree in law whilst studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and her end goal is to one day be a qualified solicitor.
Emily has done work experience within an Immigration firm doing admin work for a Solicitor, which helped to begin her journey within the legal world. Emily is a Paralegal within our Landlord and Tenant Team.
Outside of work, Emily loves to watch Formula One, and taking her dog for long adventurous walks.


Lewis graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2023 after completing his LLB (Hons) Law degree and completed his LLM in International Corporate and Commercial Law in October 2024. Lewis intends to qualify as a legal executive specialising in dispute resolution.
In his spare time, Lewis enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends, watching football, and gaming.


Airika has graduated with LLB (Hons) in Law and Criminology from the University of Lincoln in 2025, where she had built a strong foundation in legal principles and analytical thinking. Known for a keen eye for detail Airika ensures every client receives clear, complaint and trustworthy service.
Outside of work Airika enjoys solving fictional crime cases and from time to time you can find her with a book.


Oliver studied BSc Biology at the University of Warwick, followed by an MSc in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Business Management, also at Warwick. He converted to law in 2025-2026, completing the PGDL at the University of Law in Nottingham, and aims to qualify as a solicitor. In his spare time, Oliver enjoys playing cricket in the Lincolnshire leagues and going to the gym.


Emma studied Law at Durham University before completing the Legal Practice Course in London. She spent several years overseas, where she co-founded and ran a successful scuba diving business, developing strong skills in client care, communication, problem-solving and commercial decision-making, before returning to the UK and the legal sector.
Approachable and practical, Emma enjoys finding clear solutions and making legal matters straightforward for clients. Outside of work, she is a busy mum of three and enjoys strength training, Pilates, travelling and scuba diving.


Abbie graduated from Nottingham Trent University, with a First Class Degree in Law. Abbie joined our firm as a Litigation Support Assistant within our Landlord and Tenant Team and specialises in resolving disputes between Landlords and Tenants, and has experience in recovering possession of residential rental properties. Abbie hopes to further her legal career and qualify as a Solicitor in the near future.
Abbie enjoys reading and walking in the countryside in her spare time.


Emily graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2022, having completed her LLB (Hons) Law degree. She is currently studying the Legal Practice Course (LPC) online with the University of Law and is hoping to further her career to qualify as a solicitor in the near future . Emily is a Litigation Support Assistant in our Landlord and Tenant Team.
In her spare time, you can find Emily horse riding, reading, or watching the Formula 1.


Lewis graduated with a master’s in law from Nottingham Trent University in 2019. He qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in December 2023 and was admitted as a CILEx Litigator (Civil) in January 2026. From November 2020 Lewis has spent five years training and working at a regional high street law firm, gaining extensive experience in dispute resolution for both private and commercial clients, including landlord and tenant matters (residential and commercial), debt recovery, and neighbour disputes. He also has experience working on insurance-backed cases and is adept at managing the expectations of all stakeholders throughout a case.
Outside of work, Lewis enjoys scuba diving and is a qualified assistant scuba diving instructor.
